Hampton Rd to Brooklyn Rd, Abington, Leg
Back to a normal-length post, and back to walking the East Coast Greenway again after almost a month's rest for my sore knee. The injury to my quadroceps tendon from early this summer has pretty much resolved, I'm just left with my old meniscus nemesis, which I refer to as my "usual knee problem" because it crops up every so often and causes chaos. And of course, there's still a bunch of strengthening work for not only my knee mechanics, but my entire body, since I've been moving less and differently since the end of May. But I feel like I'm back on track now after doing way too much walking in August! We walked this tiny half-mile bit of trail last weekend, on September 18th. Our goal for the fall is to get out on the trail once a week and chip away at the Connecticut portions, slowly building back up to at least 3-mile legs before we take a longer, more walking-intense, road trip to walk distant legs.
