Nod Brook, Simsbury to Ensign Dr, Avon Leg

 

After voting and getting my adult children where they needed to be for the day on Tuesday, 11/8, The Girl Child and I headed out to the Florida-bound portion of our trail to continue that end of things.  We walked a 1.25 mile leg out and back starting in the Nod Brook Wildlife Management Area and heading south.

63.5 miles walked, 115.5 miles traversed, and 2884.5 miles to go!

I just realized I've been posting the wrong miles-to-go since August!! (I reference back to my previous posts and do the math, but at some point I had a typo and replaced the "2" at the start of my sequence with a "3", trying to turn our journey of 3000 miles into a journey of 4000 miles!  Just imagine how long THAT would take us!!!) I went back and fixed all the other affected posts, and my miles-to-go is now based on 3000 miles as intended. 😀
