Super special friends joined us on our super special walk on the East Coast Greenway today, during mild December temperatures. Today was the day we banged out that last 2 mile leg in Eastern Connecticut to connect the 2 pieces of trail we have walked!! All of our miles are now in one contiguous piece! (It won't stay that way for long, but we're going to enjoy the pretty map while we can!) First map is what we walked today, Kenyon Rd to Rte 97 in Hampton. Second map is our entire route so far. We've completed approximately half of the Connecticut portions of the trail!!
69 miles walked, 121 miles traversed, 2879 miles to go!!
